We want everyone to have a full and enjoyable visit to Homestead National Monument of America. Items to help with accessibility are available upon request at both the Heritage Center and Education Center.
They include regular wheel chairs, trail accessible wheel chairs, assistive-listening devices, and monument brochures in Braille. All video is open captioned. Registered service animals are welcome. Please feel free to ask for assistance as needed.
The hiking trails consist of crushed rock and/or mowed grass, and have moderate inclines in places.
There are hard-surfaced sidewalk paths from the Heritage Center to the Palmer-Epard cabin and from the Education Center across the Cub Creek walking bridge.
